Welcome to Chai Bisket, a charming café located at 132 High St, Ruislip HA4 8LL, where food and warmth come together to create a dining experience like no other. This delightful spot has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, thanks to its inviting atmosphere and a menu that celebrates a fusion of traditional flavors and modern tastes.
Stepping into Chai Bisket feels like being enveloped in a warm embrace. The decor is simple yet cozy, providing a perfect setting for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon tea. The service is notably attentive, with staff who are genuinely eager to enhance your dining experience—a sentiment echoed by satisfied customers.
One standout of the menu is the Jacket Potato, offered in delectable variations such as the classic Butter & Baked Beans or the heartier Chilli Con Carne. Each potato is baked to perfection, making it the ideal canvas for flavor. The prices are remarkably reasonable, with meals starting at just £6.99. This casual yet fulfilling option is perfect for diners looking for something comforting and hearty.
For those who crave something with a bit more flair, the meal deals are noteworthy. The Meal For 1 and Meal For 2 include a choice of chicken or vegetable biriyani, complete with refreshing beverages like traditional masala chai or lassi. At just £8.99 and £15.99 respectively, these offers cater to both solo diners and groups, making them an economical choice without compromising on taste.
Chai Bisket also shines in the realm of sweets, showcasing irresistible milkshakes that are perfect for a little indulgence. From classic flavors like chocolate to creative options such as OREO, the milkshakes promise to be a sweet finish to any meal. Prices range from £3.99 for a small to £4.99 for a large, fitting for a delicious end to your dining experience.
Customer reviews reveal a range of echoing sentiments about the café. Kevin James mentions the absolutely amazing omelette and excellent service, setting a high standard for casual dining. Others, like Nadia Siddiqui, rave about the Karakoram Chai, emphasizing its aromatic blend of spices than can evoke warmth even on a chilly day. The Dahi Yogurt Chaat is another standout, expertly crafted by Chef Venky, whose culinary talent is evident in each vibrant dish served.
However, like any establishment, there are areas for improvement. Some reviews expressed disappointment with the masala fries not meeting expectations. A constructive critique regarding the rose falooda suggests a need for refinement to align it closer with traditional offerings.
Despite these minor criticisms, Chai Bisket stands out as a #1 destination for flavorful experiences and welcoming service. As my taste buds danced through the vibrant array of spices and ingredients, I couldn't help but feel glad to have discovered this hidden gem. Whether you're in for a quick meal or a leisurely chat over chai, Chai Bisket is a must-visit for anyone in Ruislip.

A lovely quiet place to have lunch or breakfast. The omelette was amazing. The service was superb and the preserves stewed good. Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

We really liked the simplicity of the place - it’s part of the charm. The chicken tikka wrap was lovely and well-flavoured. However, the masala fries were a letdown. They should have been crispy but were instead soggy, which was disappointing and surprising given that we were dining in. I mention this as you would half expect fries to go soggy if it was a take away. The rose falooda was frankly dreadful - overwhelmingly sickly sweet to the point where the two of us couldn’t manage more than half. More importantly, it lacked key components: no sabja seeds (sweet basil), no falooda sev, and no scoop of ice cream, literally just rose syrup and milk. What we received looked more like Gaviscon than a traditional falooda. It either needs to be seriously reworked or taken off the menu entirely. I would come back, but sadly not for the falooda’s or chips/fries, hence the 3 stars.

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Chai Bisket, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the incredible service and food that made this afternoon memorable.I was fortunate to have Abhi as my server, who was attentive, courteous, and made sure that every aspect of my visit was perfect. His genuine friendliness and prompt service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The food, prepared by the talented Chef Venky was nothing short of spectacular. I started with the Karakoram Chai, which was a delightful blend of spices and warmth. The rich, aromatic flavours were perfectly balanced, making it one of the best chais I’ve ever had. It was like a warm hug in a cup, transporting me to the serene landscapes of the Karakoram mountains. The Dahi Yogurt Chaat was another highlight. Chef Vekai has truly mastered the art of creating a dish that is both vibrant and flavourful. The yogurt was creamy and fresh, while the chaat was a perfect mix of textures and spices. Each bite was an explosion of tangy, sweet, and savoury notes that danced on my palate. It’s clear that Chef Venky pours passion into every dish.Overall, my experience at Chai Bisket was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of Abhi’s excellent service and Chef Venky culinary expertise made for a delightful afternoon. I highly recommend Chai Bisket to anyone looking for a unique and flavourful dining experience. I will certainly be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

A classic cafe’ which I haven’t seen for a while, in an area which seemed to step back from the usual hustle and bustle of inner London. Tranquil , good portions of good. The Han and cheese omelette was delicious and of a very substantial size. The salad chopped up well, coleslaw great and a decent proportion for the dish. Lemon tea great. The cutlery and dusted were clean and services. Staff was nice, a little more friendliness maybe. The price was great. Definitely would go again.
